1) Superstar’s sensation at Radhakrishnan Salai

Last Sunday Superstar Rajini visited AVM Rajeswari Kalyana Mandapam located at R.K.Salai, around 12′O clock noon. My friend has seen Thalaivar and he said Thalaivar was in light blue Shirt.

My friend was buying lunch in Hotel Saravana Bhavan adjacent to that mandapam and he has heard loud sounds outside (people screaming) when he came outside to his surprise there was a huge crowd gathered, he wondered from where this much people came in RK salai. (It is a posh area where we could hardly see any such crowd), He has seen Thalaivar coming out of the AVM hall and getting into a brand new Volkswagen Suv type car..There was huge applause and Thalai was with 4 men surrounded around him..He said even many politicians were there and they too waved hands on seeing Thalaivar. One of our visitor asked us to brief about Dalavai Muddanna character which Superstar expressed his wish to play. Herewith i have presented some infos on Dalavai Muddanna and a news from Bangalore Mirror on the same.

The superstar has expressed his wish to play Dalavai Muddanna. But even attempting a movie on the subject has met with failure many times before

Writer Ta Ra Subbarao’s trilogy Kambaniya Kuyilu, Rakta Ratri and Tirugubana which portrays the life of Dalavai Muddanna is a classic. About Muddanna, a dalavai (commander) in the service of the Nayakas of Chitradurga, there have been several futile attempts to bring the character to the big screen. Most in Sandalwood are convinced that it is jinxed. Moreover, Muddanna is a negative character and top heroes are reluctant to play the part. Now Rajinikanth (he had announced years ago that if he was to act in a Kannada movie again it would only be with Rajkumar) has expressed the wish to play Muddanna in a Kannada film. Even Rajkumar had to turn down the offer to play Muddanna decades ago as his fans protested upon seeing him take on a negative role. A few years ago, T S Nagabharana had roped in Prakash Rai for the film, but it was shelved days before its scheduled shooting. Srinivas Murthy had however acted as Muddanna in a play adaptation more than 30 years ago.

The novels are still popular and Rajinikanth has confessed to reading them many times over. Sandalwood is now wondering who will join Rajini in breaking the jinx.

3) Infosys Narayanamurthy, Wipro Azim Premji, Superstar Rajinikanth…

Recently we happened to see a short programme in MTV on some famous personalities of India like Infosys Narayanamoorthy, Wipro Azim Premji etc. One important person in that group was our Superstar. The common thing among these eminent personalities is their SIMPLICITY. It was short programmed but a stunning one which lasted for almost half an hour in one of last Sundays. 4) Shankar’s mammoth team of associates for Endhiran

Playing the role of the director for a gigantic project is not a child’s play. It needs substantial amount of human resource for assistance to ensure everything proceeds as per schedule. For Sivaji, it was reported that Shankar selected around a dozen assistant directors too take care of the various aspects of the film shoot. And for the gigantic project Endhiran, unconfirmed sources say that the director has recruited around 32 aspirants as assistant directors.

This mammoth team will look after various elements of the shooting which include scene continuity, costumes, schedule, pre-shoot arrangements, presence of artistes, controlling trespassers etc.etc.
